Enhancing Breast Boundary Recovery in Image Segmentation

Compare the effectiveness of global-based thresholding with boundary recovery in image segmentation. While thresholding cleans up the background, it might remove parts of the breast boundary, leading to lost information. Enhance the border recovery process by enlarging the area surrounding the original mask for improved results. The segmented image post-border recovery shows a significantly improved breast boundary.
