In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; then He openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instructions….Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man.

  6. Symbolism The primary obstacle most dreamers must overcome to be able to understand their dreams is symbolism.

  7. Principle of Intrepretation Only witchcraft has patterns and formulas. The Spirit of God is never the same. These are suggestions for study for the Holy Spirit to quicken you when ministering to people. A normal Christian uses all five senses in his relationship to the Lord.

  8. Dream Dictionary It is hoped you will develop your own dictionary of terms. As the Holy Spirit reveals the meaning of these symbols, write them down, and refer to them as you grow in the prophetic. Always ask the Lord, what He means by any symbol and type. Always share what He gives you and with His permission.

  9. Further Discovery Remember, you need to feel your way around, using prayer, intuition, and the Holy Spirit guidance rather than reason and logic.

  20. Qualification The first step in using Symbolic Principle is to rightly determine which elements of the dream under consideration are meant to be interpreted as symbols.

  24. Symbols • If the symbol is uninterpreted in the Word, investigate the context thoroughly for the thought or idea set forth; check the concordance for other references, and consider the nature of the symbol used as it may give the clue.

  29. Dream I saw my sister and some other people partying on the lawn in front of my house where the dumpster usually is. I went upstairs and opened the door to my apartment when I walked in I saw a cement bird bath type fountain and there were three metal like thin poles attached to the fountain and two of the light bulbs were broke and one remained.

  30. Dream There were red flowers sitting next to the fireplace and inside the fountain were flowers, a skull, and a black bird with big black eyes and its head moved from side to side and up and down I thought the bird was fake. I asked the Lord what is this and He said a death bird.

  31. Dream Then the skull and the bird turned its head to my left. When I walked toward the fountain the bird jumped down. I was trying to sweep the bird off the patio under the rail. I called out to my sister for help. I was yelling out help me. I was finally able to get the bird off the patio.

  32. Dream Then I looked to the ground and the bird had transformed itself into a meowing kitten and scrambled back onto the patio. I swept it of the patio again with a little struggle and it transformed into a rabbit like animal, then it scrambled back onto the patio and I was able to sweep it off again.

  33. Dream This time I swept the bird off the patio and it transformed into a guinea pig looking animal and it was trapped in a leash tied to the back of a pick up truck and I was praying for the truck to drive away and I woke up.
