  1. Project / Poster TitleAuthor(s)Affiliationemail@address.edu Poster – Format The poster is 59.4 cm x 84.1 cm paper size (A-1 size), portrait orientation. The text of the poster should be written in English, Arial 32 point, single space, left and right justified. Heading text should be Arial 40, bold. A general guideline for the text is to ensure its visibility from a distance of about 2m (6ft). The graphical contents do not have to be numbered, i.e., but they should be logically related to the text and have a caption that clearly explains the contents. The captions for a table, figure, map or photo should be placed above the graphic, left justified and written in Arial 28 point, bold. Please note that this content box is formatted as 2 columns, but you should feel free to introduce your own poster organisation and design, within the template. The top can bottom of the poster should remain. Content A poster is a self-contained presentation of your work. It should be designed to effectively communicate the background, rationale and objectives of your project; introduce the framework and methods; and present the findings / lessons. The emphasis and balance between these elements depends on the nature and stage of the work you are presenting. The poster should rely on both textual and graphical information (maps, photos, figures, tables), with the latter being a dominant presentation method. The balance between is driven by the contents, but, as a general guideline, not more than ½ of the poster area should be taken by text. Submission The posters should be printed out and preferably laminated and brought directly to the designated poster area. There is no need to send or submit the posters to the Congress administrator.
