Some issues that arose during the day: evaluation, need for new metrics (e.g. IE extracts types, ontology-IE extracts instances) LT for SW vs. SW for LT (a new infrastructure for HLT on the SW?) multicultural data: one ontology or many? what is “truth” in a web context? chicken&egg: apps need data, data needs apps (can we bootstrap the SW with simple HLT?) grid: different world or core to the SW?
