THE PORTS LOCAL THE PORT’S ONLY NEWSPAPER! www.ThePortNews.com.au Since 1879 TEEN KILLED IN BURGLARY On Monday The 21st Of May 2008, There was a local burglary at a pub in the Port police have cornered off the pub, and there were 3 ambulances and 8 police officers. The Burglary took place at 2:35am, were three people shot and 2 killed, a local identified one of the burglars as Dumby Red, another local who played in the local football club, the other one are still yet to be identified, and police are investigating who the third burglar was. The pub owner Mr. Mac said that “I woke up to a noise outside the pub, at first I thought it would be someone at the jetty but then my dog barked so I got up to go take a look, then I heard a smashing glass sound 3 men run into my bedroom with a rifle. “Open The Safe!” they said, I told them that the keys were in the storeroom, Once I got in there I took my shotgun from the wall I then swung around and shot until the clip was empty, then I dialed 000”
