Maine Partners in Nursing Education and Practice Five priorities for Maine include: • Develop and implement nursing core competencies for the Nurse of the Future • Create paths for innovation in nursing education • Re-imagine nursing education and practice as we reflect on future patient needs • Involve a broad coalition of stakeholders • Build bridges and partnerships between education and practice to develop models for entering and re-entering nursing practice.
