  5. But how am I supposed to know what you’re quoting here? You need a reference. Don’t you use Endnote to keep track of your references? Ah, I can’t be doing with all that. Too complicated.

  6. No way, it’s easy! The Library run courses on this stuff. You’ll save weeks of work in the long run

  8. You can so tell that you’ve pasted this in from somewhere else. It doesn’t follow the paragraph before. Or the paragraph after it. And the line spacing keeps changing.

  9. Yeah, OK, so I copied it from a poster abstract. Don’t tell me, there’s a course I can do in the Library.

  10. No, IT Training. They can show you how to combine documents properly, and help you organise and format your stuff right from the start.

  11. What is this report anyway? First year report. For my major review. I thought you did that already?

  12. Yeah, turns out I missed this major paper by my supervisor’s ex-supervisor.

  13. How could that even happen? I dunno, it just didn’t come up on Google Scholar You looked on Google Scholar. Only on Google Scholar?

  14. What are you doing? Where are we going? To the Library, dude. You need a Research Consultation with a liaison librarian. They can discuss your research, recommend courses on literature searching, and help you get the information and resources you need.
