  1. More Update an Indian National Cricket Teams 'They will play in all three formats': Saba Karim predicts for two India youngsters As Ishan Kishan has recently made her debut for India in the shortest format with a bang and Rishabh Pant has been in a formidable form across formats, former India cricketer Saba Karim believes that they will represent team India across formats. After seeing Rishabh Pant's recent show in the longer format— that helped him return into the white-ball sides as well and Ishan Kishan's match-winning fifty in his debut T20I game against England, Karim says that both the youngsters are long-term prospects and they have the ability to represent the country in all three formats and he believes that India are blessed to have them in the team. "Both the batsmen have always attempted to prove themselves as match-winners. Earlier Rishabh Pant proved that and now when Ishan Kishan has been given an opportunity, his mindset has also been similar," he said. "So I feel India is blessed to have match-winning ability players like Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant in the shorter format of the game. I have full confidence that in the future Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant will represent India in all three formats," he further added. Both Kishan and Pant played in India's 2016 U-19 World Cup side. While the former led the side, Pant was a key player of the squad which ended the tournament as the runners-up as well. And, the veteran cricketer said that their previous experience will help them to understand the responsibilities of international cricket better too. "Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant have both played the Under-19 World Cup for India in 2016. So their foundation has been extremely solid. They know their responsibilities in international cricket and how they have to prove themselves," said Karim. After securing a 3-1 series win in the four-match Test series against England, Team India are taking the same opponent in the shortest format in Ahmedabad which is a five-match series. Following that, they will play a three-match ODI series in Pune as well.
