  2. Civil engineering is among the most acclaimed and oldest branches of engineering. The course has vast and varied applications in construction projects such as highways, airports, bridges, canals, tunnels, and wastewater systems. These structures are supervised and designed by civil engineers using their expertise.

  3. Recent trends in civil engineering deal with the design and construction of different kinds of buildings. Pipelines, railroads, levees, drainage, and sanitation systems are several other civil engineering efforts. Civil engineers have an extraordinary opportunity to make advancements that will transform the world. Their expertise aids in:

  5. About MIT AOE • MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE) in Pune offers seven undergraduate (BE/ B.Tech) and three postgraduate (ME/M.Tech) programs. University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved grants to the institution. Established in 1999 by Professor Dr. VishwanathKarad, MIT AOE is affiliated to SavitribaiPhulePune University (SPPU), Pune. It has recently become an autonomous institute.
