  2. Overview of the Class

  3. The Basics Client-server computing is the interaction between 2 programs across the network. The client is requesting and the server is fulfilling the request. For this Task we got acquainted with Secure Shell and networks. I really enjoyed this section and the way you eased us into working on web pages. Don’t change a thing Client-server network

  4. Web Page HTML is a markup language that is a collection of codes, embedded in a document. We learned about HTML, CSS (a web page template), and scripting. I enjoyed this section mainly because I enjoy making a web page, and learning about the theories behind it was very interesting. One thing that I would change is I would add a link where students can find different tags for their sites. My web page

  5. Doc. Markup In this section we covered more markup language which was used to identify pieces of a document so that another application can do something with them. We also covered how to markup a document (in this case a novel). I liked the fact that you allowed us to choose our own novel to markup. One thing that could be improved is that you could be more specific for where exactly you want some of the images in the text. My Doc. Markup

  6. Spreadsheet In this section we covered Microsoft Excel application and created a spreadsheet. A spreadsheet is data displayed in rows and columns. One thing I enjoyed is when you showed us the previous class page you had and it was made entirely on Excel. My spreadsheet

  7. RDBMS we covered databases in this lesson. The definition of a database is a collection of related data. My RDBMS

  8. Presentation We learned about how to design and deliver a presentation using power point in this section of the course. I really liked the chance to revisit this skill I thought I would never use again. The only problem I had with this part of the class is I felt as though I needed more time.
