  3. Deployment Defined • Military members meet deployment criteria anytime they leave the physical locale of the parent command and enter an environment for operational deploymentor are stationed in a hostile territory.”

Deployment Family Stressors • Sole responsibility for parenting and household management • Loss of emotional support and companionship - Loneliness • Managing emotional impact on the children – Behavioral issues • Adjusting to new routines • Renegotiating family roles • Worry and fear for deployed family member • Missing family life events
