  9. The ICAP, or Academic Plan of Study is a process that students participate in, which results in an actual plan. What is it all really? ICAP = A TOOL FOR HAVING CONVERSATIONS ABOUT CAREERS AND GOALS • Plan: • Student’s career cluster or pathway goal • Relevancy of student’s goal to post secondary institution / workforce or other future option • Student’s four-year high school plan (some use 6-year), including courses, extracurricular & CE options Process: Developmentally appropriate grade level required and recommended activities Utilizing: Aligned content standards of ASCA National Model & CTE, core curriculums, CDE, existing, available “village” and college, career & academic planning tools and resources

Implementation Cycle Was due: September 30 2010 Action Plan (4 T’s): Team Timeline Tool of use (acTivity) elemenT addressed Utilize “The Village” Begin NOW or at least by September 30, 2011.
