(Cities to visit:) • Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, Esslingen, Tubingen, Heidelberg, Munich (Germany); Strasbourg (France); Salzburg (Austria) • Ludwigsburg University of Public Administration and Finance • Instructor and trip leader: Dr. Natalia Ermasova (nermasova@govst.edu) • Undergraduate students should enroll in POLS 4090-01 or CJUS 4000 ; Graduate students should enroll in POLS 8000 or CJUS 8000 or PADM 8000 • You can choose to take this course for credit or audit it

  13. Grading 1. Online discussions (30 points) 2. Topical Slide show (25 points) When you travel in Germany, take photos about monuments, buildings, and locations. Prepare a slide show and shortly comment on the pictures and their historical background 3. Topical Paper (45 points) Research paper 3,000 words

Financial aid and scholarships • Check with financial aid to see if you are eligible for aid during the summer or if you would like to take out a loan. • Study Abroad Scholarship – Deadline is November 15, 2019 and February 15, 2019 • Application Form • 500-1000 Word Essay + Follow-On Project • Resume • 2 Letters of Recommendation (Academic or Professional) • $250-750

Application process • Make appointment with Study Abroad Coordinator • Amy Schoenberg aschoenberg@govst.edu • Meet with Financial Aid Advisor • Matt Zarris mzarris@govst.edu • Fill out application forms & deposit by November 10 • Program Leaders will make the final decision on participants • Apply for Study Abroad Scholarship by Nov. 15 or Feb. 15 • Apply for a passport if you don’t have one or it will expire within 6 months after departure.
