This report examines the Access to Success (A2S) initiative aimed at increasing first-year retention rates and closing retention gaps among diverse student populations at UWM. By offering over 40 elective seminars across various disciplines, we focus on equipping students with essential academic skills. Analysis reveals that participants in these seminars demonstrate higher satisfaction and better re-enrollment rates compared to non-participants. The findings also suggest a need for ongoing assessment and improvement of the program based on both faculty and student perceptions of its value.
