  3. CARACTERISTICAS • Se localiza entre 40º y 60º de latitud. • Temperatura muy extremas (inviernos fríos y veranos calurosos) • Precipitaciones escasas y llueve casi siempre en verano.

  4. PAISAJES • La vegetación característica son las praderas y la estepa. • Las praderas se dan en la zona más occidentales. • La estepa es un paisaje de vegetación muy pobre y es caracterizado en las zonas más orientales. • Bosque de Confieras o Taiga (Abetos y Pinos) • En la fauna grandes mamíferos como el alce, martas, visones.
