INTRODUCTION Modi Hitech India Ltd., established in the year 2008, is today India’s fastest growing producer of best quality stainless steel wires & welding consumables. “GMMARC” is well known for its superior quality products. Now Modi Hitech Started Production of Stainless Steel Wire to Cater the needs of Domestic as well as International Market. New Stainless steel wire plant will enable us to offer complete range of stainless steel welding and non welding wires meeting international quality standards.

Stainless Steel wire Plant Facilities • Wire Rod Pickling line, Lub coating facilities, Wire Drawing, Continuous Strand Annealing, MIG wire machine, layer binding, Straight cutting Machine for TIG welding wire. • All relevant testing facilities to full fill the requirement of product characteristics of Stainless Steel wire like Physical testing, Mechanical testing and chemical analysis lab. • Effluent treatment plant to treat effluent acidic & Heavy metal in discharge water to compliance Pollution control Norms. • Utilities : Cooling tower, Power back up DG set, Air-vent in Shade for better atmosphere inside the plant. • Power transformer 1500KVA

Features Of Machinery 1) State of the art high speed straight line machine with latest Technology. 2) Continuous strand Annealing furnace with ammonia cracker facility. 3) Vertical drop coiler with pattern lay. 4) Capacity of bigger coil weight upto 500 Kg. 5) MIG wire with facility of ultrasonic cleaning for bright clean welding.

  10. Manufacturing Process Flow Pre-Manufacturing Inspection: - The wire rod is physically inspected for size, seams, cracks & other physical properties like Tensile Strength. The chemical properties of the wire rod received are also analyzed in house for grade verification. 1. 2. Pickling & Coating :- After the wire Rod is cleared from the Pre manufacturing Inspection, Pickling & coating is done followed by baking to remove moisture content from the wire rod, to be fit for wire drawing.

  11. Manufacturing Process Flow 3. Wire Drawing: - The Pickled & Coated wire Rod is then drawn to various sizes as per customer order in Continuous Dry Drawing Blocks. A strict quality inspection is carried out for diameter, tolerances at every stage to ensure production of a dimensionally correct product. Annealing: - The drawn wire is annealed in Strand Annealing Furnaces of various capacities depending on the diameter of the wire. A strict quality check for UTS is carried out to ensure the quality of the product is maintained. 4.

  12. Manufacturing Process Flow 5. Wet Drawing: - The Annealed wire is further drawn to fine and superfine sizes in oil medium in wet drawing machines. A strict quality inspection is carried out for diameter, tolerances at every stage to ensure production of dimensionally correct product. 6. Final Inspection: - The final inspection or pre dispatch inspection of the finished product is carried out for Surface, Diameter, Tolerance, Ultimate Tensile Strength, Elongation and Chemical properties.

  13. Manufacturing Process Flow 7. Packaging & Dispatch: - After the material is cleared for dispatch from the final inspection, the material is packed as per standard packaging norms or as per customers' specific requirements in coil, bobbins etc.
