My Family and Dreams: A Journey from Boston to Morocco

I’m Yasmin Mghizou, born on March 6, 2003, in Boston, MA. With Moroccan roots, my family includes my mom, dad, sister Sara, brother Sami, 7 aunts, 4 uncles, and 11 cousins. We celebrate Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, and I love the Moroccan tradition of henna. I’m passionate about learning, especially math, and enjoy dancing. My favorite colors are blue and purple, and I love Disney Channel shows and macaroni and cheese. Growing up, I aspire to be a pediatrician, helping children thrive and flourish.
