Text: Exodus 3:10-15 v-10-“Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring My people the children of Israel out of Egypt. v-11- But Moses said to God, Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?.

  1. Text: Exodus 3:10-15 v-10-“Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring My people the children of Israel out of Egypt. v-11- But Moses said to God, Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?

  2. v-12-So He said,” I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain” v-13-Then Moses said to God,” Indeed when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, “ The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, “WHAT IS HIS NAME, WHAT SHALL I SAY TO THEM?”

V-14-And God said to Moses “I am who I am”, and He said, thus you Shall say to the children of Israel,” I am who sent me to you” v-15-Moreover God said to Moses ”Thus you shall say to the children of Israel,” The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, has sent me to you, this is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations”

  5. introduction To say that “HE is God” without knowing what the word “HE” means, is of no use of it; God is only a name To know about a thing, is of no use, except you do it. The supreme need of man is GOD

  6. introduction • In the ministry industry, there are big names such as Moses • 1st 40 years - in Egypt • 2nd 40 years - wilderness • 3rd 40 years – Exodus • 120 years (Psalm 90:1)-God was His dwelling place in 120 years

  7. IT IS NECESSARY TO KNOW • HIM BEFORE WE CAN MAKE HIM KNOWN • HOW CAN WE KNOW HIM? • 1. HE REVEALED HIMSELF: • a. General Revelation- (History, nature, conscience) • b. Special Revelation- (special time, special people)

TO WHOM DID HE REVEAL HIMSELF? • Moses-burning bush (Ex.3:2) • Elijah-still small voice (I Kings 19:1) • Vision in a temple ( Isa. 6:1) • Hosea- family circumstances (Hos.1:2) • Amos-in a basket of summer fruit • (Amos 8:1) • Visions and dreams • Pillar of fire, smoke • Ur of Chaldees, Egypt, Babylon • NO LACK OF VARIETY

YVHW-(Yahwe, Jahvhe) –YAHWE EL- Yahwe is God, Lord • No one knows how to read without then vowels • So holy name that no one wants to pronounce • - The Self – Existing One who created- CREATOR • - The One who rules over the earth- KING

  14. WHY DOES GOD NEED TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO US? (DIAGNOSIS) • 1. Our thirst for Go- Psa. 42- “deer” • 2. Our need to be govern by His Word- • 3. Our weakness to love people • 4. Loss of sensitivity of God’s presence • 5. God delights to see His children in His • house, where He is worship • 6. Our need for forgiveness • 7. He wants us to yearn fro heaven.(Col.3:1)
