  2. General • There are 40 milk processing industries in Estonia. Two of them are farm dairies and they produce organic products. • These are Pajumäe farm and Saidafarm

  3. Tere AS(Company) • It is the biggest milk products producer in Estonia • It has 5 departments all over the Estonia.

  5. Contains - Lactic acid bacteria - Lactobacillus fermentum ME-3 Kefir

  6. In Estonia it is quite well-known, but most European countries don’t know much about it. Cheese curd

  8. AS Maag Milk Industry • Is based on Estonia’s oldest dairy industry • Started in 1850. • Only ice cream manufacturer which uses its own cream. • Located in two towns. • Produces all kind of milk products: milk, ice-cream, cheese, cottage cheese, yoghurt, etc.

  10. Valio AS • It has two departments in Estonia: - Valio Laeva Dairy - Valio Võru Cheesefactory

  11. Valio Dairy • They produce more than 70 different products • They also produce lactose-free milk products • Factory produces more than 4000 tons of fresh milk products in one month

  12. Valio Cheesefactory • Produces more than 700 tons of cheese products in one month. • More than 90% of the production is sold out of Estonia. For example to Italy, to Finland, to Latvia,to Lithuania and to Russia.

  13. Pajumäe Organic Farm

  14. About the farm • It is situated in Viljandimaa • Farm is organic-producer and has corresponding certification. • Farm produces organically clear milk • Yoghurt, curds and junket ( curd cream) are made from their own organic milk.

  15. Products • They produce only 4 different sorts of products, but they use many different flavours to widen their assortment of products. • For example they use jams, cocoa, raisins, berries(sea-buckthorn, cranberry, strawberry)
