  1. The Magic Book A Totally Awesome Foldable

  2. Materials Needed • Materials • 1 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock • 2 pieces 8.5 x 2.5 strips of card stock, preferably of different colors

  3. Folding paper—Step 1 • Fold paper in half—”hamburger style”

  4. Folding paper—Step 2 • Fold ends of paper to the middle, forming a “W”

  5. Cutting tabs • Determine number of tabs needed • Cut the middle fold from the fold to the fold line

  6. Adding strips • Weave one strip through first side of slits • Reverse the process for second strip

  7. Making Pages--part 1 • Fold woven strips back to back

  8. Making pages—part 2 • Place finger between “loops” of original paper

  9. Making pages—part 3 • Separate loops to form the inner pages

  10. Final Product • Book is now ready for any project • Example: Digestive system parts
