  2. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5 v 16 (NLT) Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in sin, you who live by the spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ. Galatians 6 V1-2 (NIV)

Accountability I Say: “I want you to stand with me, not in judgement, but in love, and make sure I do not justify the sin in my life, but rather root it out to bring me another layer of freedom.” They say back: “I am right here with you, standing in the mess, fighting for your heart for Jesus for His Glory.”

  4. What next? • Start with the next small step. • Remember you can set the pace. • Make deliberate conversations happen. • Choose who you share with wisely. • Be careful when sharing struggles in a similar area. • Get it in place for the small things, and it will naturally be there when the big stuff bubbles up.
