  6. “free falling” • Thrilling • Risky • Scary • Graceful • Suspenseful • Rewarding • Dangerous • Beautiful • Exhilarating • Courageous

  7. “Extreme service” • Goes way beyond the ordinary • Holds expectations in suspense • Trusts in the ultimate outcome • Just goes for it: “no strings attached!”

  10. In your small group, pick a past service project you have worked on. • Each group member take a turn describing/explaining your project. • As a group, discuss the results of your projects. What did your service actually do for… • The people served? • Your group or organization? • The community as a whole? • You? SERVICE Projects & Results

  11. Now that you have identified results, reflect on what serving your community means. Ask yourself… • Why do you serve? • Why do you belong to a service organization? • Why should others become involved too? What it all means

  21. In Conclusion… Extreme service involves “no strings attached.” Gen Y is well-positioned for extreme service. You’ve gotten results and you have a message to share. Your ideas and experiences can inspire and motivate others. “TRUST” in the ultimate outcome.

  22. TRUST… … that you are making a difference. … that you are creating a better world. … that you are positively influencing youngers and olders. … that you are bettering your life by bettering others. … that you are “paying it forward” more than you can imagine!
