  2. Characters • Katniss Everdeen has straight hair, olive skin, gray eyes, and she is 16 years old. • Peeta Mellark is medium in height , stocky build, ashy blond hair that falls in waves over his forehead.

  3. Setting, Image • The setting or image of this story is at District 12 which is a big fenced in facility which has electric fence , barb wire on it, and is heavily graded it also takes place in a stadium.

  4. The Conflict and Resolution • The conflict was that the districts had to give up two kids one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 to 18 to participate in the hunger games where the districts picks will fight to the death. • The resolution is Peeta and Katniss fell in love and she was about to kill him because only one could live.

  5. Prediction or Inference • I predicted that Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen will fall in love with each other. • My prediction did come true close to the end of the story.

  7. Theme • The theme of the hunger games is you may not want to stand up and do the right thing but you have to some times.
