AIRDIP- Aims Academy Intute Resource Database Integration Project (AIRDIP) • Project Overview & Status • Technical Review Aims To: • Allow easy sharing of resource metadata between Subject Centres, York and Intute • Ensure cataloguing consistency and quality • Explore cataloguing facility for Subject Centres
AIRDIP- Benefits Benefits of collaboration between HEA & Intute: Building upon: • an already established and expanding network of expertise between HEA, JISC & other global repository initiatives; • a service and test-bed environment where more innovative developments might be tested; • a complimentary sustainability plan following development work; • Intute’s capacity position to support the development of an integrated Academy resource database into its new organisation structure, processes and practices; • Intute’s experience in the application of metadata standards and links to other creation services i.e. JORUM; • integrated (national) technical infrastructure provided by MIMAS.
