  4. My First Voyage • On my first voyage, the Muscovy Company ( English firm ) entrusted me to find the “thought to be real” Northwest Passage. I was blocked by ice shields and had to return empty handed.

  5. My Second Voyage • My second voyage was also stopped by ice shields.

  6. My Third Voyage • My third voyage was under the rule of the Dutch and I thought that there were two possible Northwest passages but they failed and I was sent back to Holland.

  7. My Forth Voyage • My fourth voyage was under British rule in April 17, 1610. After about one month of sailing around, I found a river and a bay that would be later named after me.

  8. Hudson River • The river that was named after me became one of the most popular rivers in the United States.

  9. My Death • I sadly died in 1611 at age 45.
