  3. My Marshall: Building our future together • Three teams have been meeting regularly to support our monthly large group Leadership meetings with the following agendas: • Buzz Team: getting the word out, sharing information, providing regular updates • Asset Team: discerning Marshall’s unique qualities which set us apart from other communities • Engagement Team: listening, listening, listening to what the thoughts around Marshall truly are by conducting a survey and then continuing to seek input from the community

  4. Project Cost $36,500 • $5,000 from Blandin Foundation • Otto Bremer Foundation granted $27,500 • Additional funding through local support (individuals, organizations and businesses) • Marshall EDA match up to $5,000

  5. Process Outline Four key outcomes • A Leadership team has been formed to assess the survey and other input to help the community effectively address the opportunities and challenges it faces in the coming years; • The Leadership team will identify future destinies which in turn will become specific projects; • Strategies (destiny drivers) will be identified that will serve as a road map or community agenda for reaching our goal; and • Alignment will be created behind the destiny drivers with key leaders and organizations, resulting in a clear plan of action.

  6. Result • Multiple projects will be identified and leadership and teams will be formed • to put action plans in place for each project • The My Marshall Leadership Team will ensure projects will be completed • Marshall becomes even more vibrant with growth and is visibly seen as a • community with a future brighter than it’s past.
