ESC Scientific Activities Educational Training Programmes • High quality medical educational programmes at the European Heart House • Programmes based on topics from ESC Core Curriculum, CME accredited • Aim: high standard and uniformity in training for all European Cardiologists • Encourage Continuing Medical Education • 8 – 10 courses per year • 50 – 200 delegates per course

ESC Scientific Activities Educational Webinars Training Courses conducted by KOL’s with clinical case discussions Regular on-line courses, fromSeptember to June, covering all core curriculum, providing a powerful and interactive format for delivering training courses by ESC Faculty to a wide audience favouring clinical case discussion Programme currently being defined

  6. ESC Scientific Activities Opportunity for Alliance • Unrestricted educational grants for course/s • Sponsorship of educational tools from course/s (DVD’s, course kits) • Euro Heart Journal Supplements

ESC Scientific Activities Clinical Practice Guidelines • Evidence-based recommendations developed by Task Forces of leading European experts • Help physicians weigh benefits & risks of particular diagnostic & therapeutic procedures • Formats include: full texts, executive summaries, pocket guidelines, slide-sets, books and PDA versions
