  9. Marshall University Early Education STEM Center Holidays Holidays may be acknowledged but are not celebrated. (NAEYC) Birthdays Birthdays are important for every child. To remain consistent, birthday celebrations are treated equally. This means the classroom holds a special baking day on a child’s birthday and the entire class acknowledges and celebrates their friend’s special day. (No parties)

  10. Marshall University Early Education STEM Center Message Center • The message center will be available outside the classroom during drop-off and pick-up. We will have various supplies for you to create your messages. • The children will also have an opportunity to send their families, friends, and teachers mail through the message center in the classroom.
