  4. Human And Physical Features Did you know that the population (as a 2005 estimate), in Morocco is 30,495,000 and the U.S.A.’s population is 299,846,000? First of all, Morocco’s life expectancy (from a 2005-2010 estimate) is 71.2 years but the U.S.A.’s life expectancy is 78.2 years. Also, Morocco’s birth per 1,000 live births,(from a 2005-2010 estimate) is 20.5 births but the U.S.A.’s is 14.0 births. In addition, there are 51 doctors in Morocco per 100,000 population (2001-2004). The U.S.A. has 256 doctors (2,000). The literacy rate in Morocco is 52% (2000-2005).The U.S.A.’s literacy rate is 86%. Passenger cars per 1,000 population (2001-2003) in Morocco is 58. The U.S.A.’s is 789. As you can see, Morocco’s human and physical features are very different from the U.S.A.’s and a lot lower.

  5. Flag Of Morocco Did you know that green and red, (the colors of Morocco’s flag,) are traditional colors of Islam? Red is the color of the reigning Moroccan dynasty. Also, the seal of solomon on the flag shows the link between God and the nation. In addition, the flag was adopted on November 17, 1915. As well as, on March 2, 1956 Morocco gained independence from France. Also, the sultan became a king and Morocco became a kingdom 1 year after Morocco gained independence. In conclusion, there are many interesting facts on the symbols, history, and facts about the Morocco flag. It is very easy to see how it can differ from other flags.

  6. Government In Morocco 1. The name of the capital is Rabat. 2. They gained independence on March 2, 1956 from France. 3. Their suffrage age is 18 universal. 4. The name of their national anthem is “Hymne Cherifien.” 5. The head of their government is prime minister Abdelillan Benkirane.

  7. Religion In Morocco Did you know that the two religions practiced in Morocco are Islam and Christianity? 1% of people in Morocco practice Christianity. Also, 99% of the population in Morocco practices Islam! The religion of Islam believes in one God, which is Allah. In addition, the text read by Muslims is called the Qur’an. Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ in C.30 AD, Israel. It has 2 billion worldwide Adherents. In conclusion, Islam and Christianity are both practiced in Morocco. Islam is very different from the most practiced religion in the U.S.A. which is Christianity.

  9. Animals Plants and Natural Resources Did you know that the leatherback sea turtle is the largest of all living turtles in the world and it is indigenous to Morocco? First of all, the leatherback seaturtle is the 4th largest modern reptile behind 3 types of crocodiles. As well as, it’s carapace is covered by skin and oily flesh. Also, another animal that lives in Morocco is the Rock Sparrow bird. It eats mostly seeds and some insects. Besides that, it nests in crevices in rocks or walls and lays 3-7 eggs. Furthermore, the Barbary Macaque also lives in Morocco and they are the only free-living primates in Europe. In addition, the Barbary Macaque males live to a maximum of 25 years while the females may live up to 30 years. All in all, the animals in Morocco are very unique and nothing like the animals we see here in the U.S.A.

Confucianism - Philosophical Theory, - The system of ethics, education, and statesmanship taught by confucius and his disciples stressing love for humanity, ancestor worship, reverence for parents, and harmony in thought and conduct. - 0% of people practice this religion in Morocco Heliport - Runway - A landing for helicopters - There is 1 heliport in Morocco.
