  8. Troubleshooting Tips • The radio draws 40mA to 60mA of current when the flash is blank (empty flash/ not programmed) • A bricked phone will draw more current than a blank flash phone • When a phone bricks and if the IMEI is not programmed, you can save the phone by using the erase_rom.shx file • If IMEI is already programmed and phone bricks, replace the flash with a empty flash • Place a short between WDOG and IO_REG before starting a No power up troubleshooting Motorola Confidential Proprietary
