TBC Looking Back (2008) • House Church - Expository Preaching (Romans) - Fellowship that goes below the surface - Music that genuinely and reverently and truthfully praises God - Nursery & Children’s Ministry (TruthQuest) - Women’s Ministry (Wednesdays morning Bible Study, Retreat, Breakfasts) - Mid-week Bible Study (Thursday Nights) - Leadership Team (Tuesday Nights) • Full Time Pastor (Counseling, 1 to 1 Discipleship) • Web Site (truthbiblechurch.com, truthbiblechurch.net) • Signs, Baptistery, Sound System, Keyboard, Communion Set, Pulpit • Rental of two rooms in the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center • MD Incorporation, Federal EIN, PNC Bank Account • Administration System (Budget Set Up, Quickbooks for Non Profit, Tax Filing

TBC Looking Forward (2009) “Make sure we take care of the depth and let God determine our breadth” • Lay a firm foundation on Christ and His Word (Doctrinal Statements, Constitution/Bylaws) • Get Weekly Prayer Engine Going and made a Priority (Thursday Nights Prayer & Bible Study) • Get Monthly Evangelism Going and made a Priority (Flyers, Evangelism Training, Visitor Follow-up) • Establish a Membership Process (core group goes through it - 1 Peter 5) • Establish Leadership/Teachers Training Track (complete Gray Folder, FOF, NT Read-Thru) • Train, Vet, and Appoint Elders and Deacons (Biblical Eldership and NT Deacons books) • Shepherd Well the sheep we already have (counseling, 1 to 1 discipleship, meals, calls, emails, notes) • Growth by new converts, baptize them, and begin discipleship (praying for unsaved family) • Establish Men’s Ministry (Men pair up for discipleship/accountability/faithful men once a month) • Establish Youth Ministry (Home Bible Study and Monthly Activity)

  4. TBC Always Looking Up Top 10 Priorities of Truth Bible Church: (Mt. 22:37, 28:19-20, Acts 2:42) • 1. Pursuit of Love and intimate relationships through the Church • Worship - Loving God supremely • Fellowship - Serving people sincerely • Evangelism - Reaching the Lost urgently • 2. Pursuit of the Truth solely through the Word of God – being Biblicists • 3. Pursuit of Obedience through the regular practice of Ordinances • 4. Pursuit of Faith with greater Hope, Wisdom and Power through Prayer • 5. Pursuit of Godly Leadership by truly biblically qualified Elders/Pastors • 6. Pursuit of Holinessthrough Discipleship • 7. Pursuit of a Maturity through a Committed Body of Believers & Membership. • 8. Pursuit of Multiplicationand Building the Local Churchthrough Leadership Development and Church Planting. • 9. Pursuit of Worldwide Outreach and reaching every nation for Christ through Missions • 10. Pursuit of Good Deeds that meet the needs of others that also are evidence of true faith, love, and Lordship of Christ.
