Performance Analysis of OBS Edge Nodes for Video Streaming

This study explores the performance of Optical Burst Switching (OBS) edge nodes in the context of video streaming. F. Espina, M. Izal, D. Morato, and E. Magaña investigate key factors affecting streaming quality and introduce the concept of stream grouping using a burstifier. The research includes an analysis of loss probability in the network, providing valuable insights for optimizing video streaming protocols. Findings are relevant for future work in enhancing streaming efficiency and reliability, with implications for network design and resource management.
