  7. Balance • Elements must be are arranged evenly. • Elements that are placed out of balance create a certain tension/mood. • How do we create balance?

  9. Proximity and Unity Border with heading Space reduced

  10. Alignment Text left-aligned and graphic added to balance overall design.

  11. Repetition/Consistency Text matches graphics and adds repetition. Blue borders and typeface are consistent with other examples.

  12. Contrast Oversized graphic and blue boder provide contrast and reinforces the copy.

  13. White Space White space gives your design breathing room! Larger indentions and margins.
