  3. James Lind Was a pioneer because: • He was uncertain about an area of health. • He identified the important question. • He asked the question that mattered to the people affected by the problem.

  4. The James Lind Alliance was formed in 2004 to help people ask questions that have never been answered in healthcare.A number of steps are used to find the most important questions for future research

  6. James Lind Alliance The JLA have helped people to identify treatment uncertainties for a variety of healthcare conditions. We want to find out unanswered research questions to do with Life after Stroke in Scotland

  7. Next steps • Gather research questions from all over Scotland. 2. Questions with an answer will be removed. 3. Ask which are the most important questions to you.
