Obtain Service Accounts • Initial service account requires evidence of a valid wireless license • At least one service account is required • Can establish sub-accounts under each service account to ease management • Account structure is up to individual WSP • User ID and password allows access and administration of service/sub-accounts • Applications for service accounts processed within 5 business days NE Region

Applications for MBIs • MBIs must be associated with service or sub-accounts • MBIs have no geographic significance from an MBI Administration perspective • Can order new MBIs for a nominal fee to replenish the inventory in the service or sub-account • Self certify 60% utilization • Exception criteria • Administrator evaluates and processes applications within 5 days • Non-LNP based carriers must match MBI and NXX assignments • LNP based carriers can match MBI and NXX assignments but don’t have to • If not specified assignments start at 201 201 MBIs 212 234 215 345 617 456 NE Region

MBI Database NPA-NXX Assignments Or Returns • List of assignable MBIs consists of assigned NPA-NXXs (updated monthly) • Grandfathering period set up initial set of MBIs assigned to WSPs • If newly assigned code is not in MBI Database, can be assigned as an MBI with a NANPA Part 3 MBI Database Protected and Troublesome Codes • Over 120 companies • Over 10,000 service/sub-accounts • Over 40,000 MBIs assigned Grandfathered MBI Codes April 2002 to August 2002 MBI Code Applications Form B Ongoing
