  1. This template is set-up for three teams or three players, you can create more players by cloning the score boxes on page 3. You may also delete players. To enter a score, either double click on the "SCORE" word, delete it and type in a number, or use the pen tool. To rename the categories, double click on the text 'category' and enter a new name. You may need to resize the text to make the category fit in the box. You can use the pen tool to mark out the categories and amounts students have already answered. Each button is linked to a corresponding "answer" page, where you can type in the "answer" for the question that you are looking for. Each "answer" page has a link to the "question", which as you know if this type of game is actually the correct "answer". Each page has a link to the Game Board page. There are generally two Daily Doubles per round. You can right click on the purple Daily Double button below, select copy, and then go to the "answer" pages you would like to make the Daily Doubles and paste in the button. This will signify as you play the game which "answers" are Daily Doubles. DAILY DOUBLE!

  2. These are the traditional rules as seen on the television game show. Select teams. Make a determination on which team will play first by selecting the category and dollar value. Each of the three teams may designate a representative to "buzz" in to answer the question. Keep track of points by typing or writing them on the Score Board page located on page 4 of this file. The answer is provided first; the player must phrase the response in the form of a question. For example, the answer could be "This tool consists of physical, social and mental/emotional sections." The team must then respond "What is the Food Pyramid?" to receive the points, not just "Food Pyramid." The team that answers the question correctly may choose the next category and point value. If only an incorrect answer is provided, the team who last answered correctly may choose the next category and point value. If the team chooses a question with the Daily Double, they may wager a point value and win that amount in the event that the team answers the question correctly. If the team answers the question incorrectly, the team loses the initial amount wagered. For example, if a team wages $100 and answers correctly, the team receives $100. If the team answers incorrectly, the team loses $100.
