This project focuses on exploring the themes of Homeland Security and Indigenous Peoples through the lens of community building and resilience. Students will select topics related to events, themes, and regions that highlight the importance of collaboration in fostering security and support for refugees. Participants will rank their chosen topics to prioritize their exploration, emphasizing the necessity of tearing down walls while simultaneously building security fences within communities. Through this initiative, we aim to create a pathway for understanding and empathy.
