Happy Friday! Collaborative History Project on Civil War Battles

This Friday, students across Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania are gearing up for a collaborative project on key Civil War battles. Each group will research and present on specific battles, including the Second Battle of Bull Run and the Battle of Gettysburg. Students will explore critical facts such as dates, commanders, outcomes, and casualties, and each group member will share unique insights. Remember, these battles will be on your test. • Each group must provide the following critical facts: • Dates of the battle • Confederate Commander(s) and Union Commander(s) • Which side won • Number of total causalities – also split them between the two sides • Significance of the battle overall • One interesting fact per person in your group • Each person must provide a minimum of 2 facts per battle
