  1. About Us • Murrays Pharmacy is a leading award winning community pharmacy group and healthcare provider with pharmacies across the UK, mainly in community and health centre locations. We employ over 230 staff across 25 pharmacy locations, including specialist mobility aid centres.

  2. Paperless Prescription • The Paperless Prescription Service (PPS) is a service which murrays pharmacy offer. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

  3. NHS Prescriptions • If getting to a pharmacy isn’t that easy, you can order your NHS prescriptions right here online. It takes just minutes to order what you need, you pay exactly the same as you would in-store.

  4. Private Prescriptions • A Private Prescription is issued by a private prescriber or by your NHS prescriber if your treatment is not available under the NHS. Private prescriptions are generally written on headed paper from the Surgery/Medical Practice and are not standardised like NHS forms. You are not required to sign these.

  5. Veterinary Prescriptions • A Veterinary Surgeon or suitably qualified person will write a prescription for your pet just like your doctor would do for you. Having your pet’s medicine dispensed by your veterinary surgery isn’t the only option. It may be cheaper to ask your vet to provide a prescription to have dispensed elsewhere.
