Establece igualdad ante la ley, no discriminación por nacimiento, raza, sexo, religión, opinión, etc. CHILE. Art. 19. Establece igualdad ante la ley entre hombres y mujeres; no hay esclavos; el que pise su territorio queda libre.

Monarquías parlamentarias España, Reino Unido, Japón y Camboya El principio de igualdad ante la ley, existe un debate acerca de su existencia: la desigualdad de nacimiento y de sexo establecida para el acceso al trono, no implica desigualdad ante la ley. Solo cuando eres mujer primogénita, no se tiene derecho acceder al trono.
