  2. Biography of the Navy The United States Navy (USN) is the naval warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the seven uniformed services of the United States. The U.S. Navy is the largest in the world; its battle fleet tonnage is greater than that of the next 13 largest navies combined The service had 328,516 personnel on active duty and 101,689 in the Navy Reserve in January 2011. It operates 286 ships inactive service.

  4. Air Force • The United States Air Force (USAF) is the aerial warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the American uniformed services. Initially part of the United States Army, the USAF was formed as a separate branch of the military on September 18, 1947 under the National Security Act of 1947 • It is the most recent branch of the U.S. military to be formed, as well as the world's most technologically sophisticated air force. As of 2009 the USAF operates 5,573 manned aircraft in service (3,990 USAF; 1,213 Air National Guard; and 370 Air Force Reserve);[5] approximately 180 unmanned combat air vehicles, 2,130 air-launched cruise missiles,[6] and 450 intercontinental ballistic missiles. The USAF has 330,159 personnel on active duty, 68,872 in the Selected and Individual Ready Reserves, and 94,753 in the Air National Guard as of September 2008. .

It is the largest and oldest established branch of the U.S. military, and is one of seven U.S. uniformed services. • The Congress of the Confederation officially created the United States Army on 3 June 1784after the end of the revolutionary war to replace the disbanded Continental Army. The Army considers itself to be descended from the Continental Army and thus dates its inception from the origins of that force. • The Army is a military service within the Department of the Army, one of the three military departments of the Department of Defense. The Army is headed by the Secretary of the Army, and the highest ranking military officer in the department is the Chief of Staff of the Army. In fiscal year 2010, the Regular Army reported a strength of 561,979 soldiers; the Army National Guard (ARNG) reported 362,015 and the United States Army Reserve (USAR) reported 205,281 putting the combined component strength total at 1,129,275 soldiers. *

They protect the shore, because they protect the seas and fight for sea, and our country. They are yet again our country. another good example of good citizenship. Air Force Army [My Grandpa was in the Air Force and fought The Army protects the main part of a war... in the Vietnam War] The Air Force protects the The ground. I’m grateful for all of these air. And also fights for our country. Groups that fight for our country.

  9. What She Did • My mom did a program called sip for sjrogens. It helps people with sjogrens disease [dry skin and lotion won’t help] Made Newspaper with her big group of friends. I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!

Was a Marine I Love You Dad!!!
