Add, Change or Delete a Course Use this facility to request changes to the course inventory. This information is designed to assist you in completing the necessary forms. This facility is designed to enhance the approvals process in place on the University of Arkansas campus.

Main MenuThere are three types of major actions. Major actions will proceed through the full review process of all committees and Faculty Senate.
Minor ChangesThere are two types of minor actions. Minor actions will proceed through with Department, Dean, and Vice Chancellor approval.
Browse CoursesOnce a selection is made for an action you will be presented with a screen to select the course for which the action is requested.This is where one would go to view the course inventory during catalog production time.
Add a New CourseWhen adding a new course type in the course prefix, number and suffix, if applicable. A check at the time of submission, will verify that it is unique.Make sure to select correct change type and effective year.
Section IAt this time, all changes show all options. When selecting an action, make sure to not mix them.
Section II When changing existing courses information will be defaulted in. When adding a new course, one must enter all information.
Section II (indicate total hours or total times repeatable)
Once all information is entered, press Submit. If course number of a new course request is not unique, you will be informed.
Registrar Initial Review Due to complexities in determining a minor editorial change versus a major editorial change, the Registrar’s Office will review each major and minor change.
Distribution Once all approvals have been processed, copies of the completed request will be electronically distributed to: Dean’s Office Department Treasurer Admissions Graduate School (if applicable) Institutional Research Continuing Education Undergraduate Curriculum Course Committee
