  5. How to become a obgyn • Qualifications- you must have both bachelor’s and medical school degrees. Medical school admissions officers are looking for excellent grades and volunteer work. • Training- after completing your MD degree you must complete a four year residency program. While doing this program you earn a salary of 45,000 but each year your salary goes up as an resident. • To move up as an obgyn you must complete training and work hard to earn more money every year meaning work a lot of hours. • The university of California-San Francisco would be the best school to go too for this.

  6. Job outlook • The field in general is said to increase by 24%. • The obgyn field is not that competitive. Some people say its because of to collage. • When I become a obgyn I want to work in California or I might stay in Michigan. • There is not a particular place I want to work at.

  7. My goals • My lifestyle goals are to have enough money to take care of my family and live life with no worries but still be happy doing my career. • The average earnings for an obgyn is 700,000 at the most. • The earnings for an obgyn does fit my goals I will be making a lot to do what I want to do. • The first purchase with my earnings will be to move my mom in her dream house.

  8. Second choice • My second choice if I did not become a obgyn would be pediatrician. • Responsibilities- keep kids healthy. Pediatricians are children doctors. • Earnings- pediatricians make about 176,000 a year • I would want to do this because I would be in the doctors field still and I will be working with children.

  9. Feelings? • When I become an obgyn I look forward to working with babies. I will be looking forward to sharing that beautiful moment with the babies parents. And I will also be looking forward to the MONEY. I will not be looking forward to going to school for 12 years but I still am ready for it. I am also concerned about how many hours I would be working but if I like my job it will not be that much of a problem.
