This study examines the genetic characteristics of the wild-type variant T5-6b, focusing on heterozygote traits. With a notable genetic map distance of 300 cM at 50 cM intervals, we analyze how adjacent and alternate disjunction affects viability. Female viable individuals of the conferring DpDf genotype demonstrate differences in disjunction patterns, with some exhibiting normal viability while others, like DfDp, show abortive traits. These insights aid our understanding of genetic stability and viability within the T5-6b lineage.
