Longo – Ofterdinger & Belfast City Council • Better knowledge of costs of managing biodegradable solid waste • Need to quantify monetary benefits of ‘greener waste management practices’ to get ‘prices right’ • Obtain stronger and better targeted government support for greener waste management practices • Households’ preferences are needed to understand population’s support and attitudes towards ‘greener waste management practices’ • Involvement of stakeholders and policymakers to guarantee results are policy relevant
