Develop new traditional student housing • Intended to serve freshmen and sophomores • Current market study - Apartment style student housing for Upper division and graduate students • Link new facilities with a pedestrian esplanade on both edges of the campus • Extend boulevard treatment along Oak Street • KCMO is conducting pedestrian study • Consider planted median or center turn lane within Oak Street • Encourage mixed-use development • Consider building a parking structure on the surface lot south of 51st Street UMKC Campus Master Plan
