This project report discusses the current status of an existing Arctic observing network that collects extensive cloud data across the Arctic Basin, including locations such as Barrow, Atqasuk, Eureka, Alert, Summit, and NyÅlesund. It covers various aspects of cloud macrophysical and microphysical properties, including occurrence fractions and water content measurements. Collaborative efforts for programmatic and scientific coordination among institutions like IASOA, NOAA, and DOE are highlighted, along with future work focused on improving cloud microphysics algorithms and data release protocols to enrich Arctic research.
