What is Stern Community Service? • An integral part of SCorp: SCS is a committee under the SCorp umbrella. • Leadership: Noa Gershony, Veronica Hsia, Sara Harris (PTLF Chair) • SCS Mission: To maximize the community service impact of Stern students by providing students with a range of opportunities to contribute.
First-Year Positions • 1st Year Full Time Assistant Chair • Event Coordinators • Block Community Service Liaisons • Benefits • Opportunity to assume leadership roles and demonstrate organizational, and marketing skills • Opportunity to interact with outside corporations and charity organizations • Procedure • Send an email to cservice@stern.nyu.edu with a paragraph of statement of interest
Upcoming Events • NY Cares Day • Event Date: Saturday, October 21 • Food Fight • Week of November 6-12 • Charity Ball Silent Auction: Ongoing • Event Date: Saturday, November 18 • Each MBA1 Block needs to submit at least 3 prizes
