  8. e-documents in foreign trade Application method being used • Documents to be used for foreign trade application and the workflow in which these documents are used have been determined. • Mostly used 28 of the foreign trade documents, which exceed 170, are selected by taking into account within a pilot application. • Accelerating exports by facilitating and encouraging trade. SOUTHEAST EUROPEAN COOPERATION INITIATIVE SECI IN TURKEY www.seciturk.org.tr The paramount goal of SECI is to encourage regional cooperation, stability among the countries of Southern Europe, and thus facilitate the access of Southern Europe to the European Union. Member Countries are; Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FRY Macedonia, Greece, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Yugoslavia.

SOUTHEAST EUROPEAN COOPERATION INITIATIVE SECI IN TURKEY www.seciturk.org.tr SECIPRO is the association of National Pro Committees in SEE which is a body to increase business and investment by simplifying and harmonising legal and commercial procedures. To deal with the legal problems, regulations and documents for the shipment of goods, SECI has organised a project group, Trade and Transport Facilitation in Southeast Europe, (TTFSE).

  19. SOUTHEAST EUROPEAN COOPERATION INITIATIVE SECI IN TURKEY TTFSE TRANING OF TRAINERS PROJECT This project is undertaken for training the trainers in road transport. The academic program has been implemented during December 2001 by Koç University in İstanbul. Two participants from six countries have attended to this program for seven days. They have been trained on foreign trade, international transport, customs regime, and ethics. Due to the success of this project, SECI BAC and the Agenda Committees have praised the effort and shown this project as a model.

SOUTHEAST EUROPEAN COOPERATION INITIATIVE SECI IN TURKEY VISA REGIME PROJECT This project has been initiated in order to facilitate the procedures for obtaining visas for businessmen and drivers. Consulates in the SECI countries will be connected on-line to a center to be established, and question relavent information concerning businessmen and drivers for issuing visas.

  21. SOUTHEAST EUROPEAN COOPERATION INITIATIVE SECI IN TURKEY REGIONAL ROAD TRANSPORT COMMITTEE (RRTC) Turkey will be hosting the committee this year, as was in 2001 and 2002. Work is in progress concerning standardisation of road user charges and weight control.
