  5. Homework • Daily assignments • Written in homework planner • Must be completed daily • Must have note from parent if unable to complete • Study for tests OR Alternative assessments (in lieu of written tests) • Make-up work for absences • Monthly book projects • Three Long-term projects

  6. Monthly Book Projects • Read one book per month • Different genres each month • Written report (short form) and/or book project • Due on last school day of month • Details of genre and project provided to students at the beginning of each month

  7. Long Term Projects • Trimester 1 • Social Studies/ILA: Culture Project • Trimester 2 • Science: Research Report • Trimester 3 • Math: Board Game

Grades • Students receive letter grades • All Content Areas and Resource Classes • Assignments weighted in Power School and averaged into total grade • Progress Report each Trimester • Grades are posted on a weekly basis • Friday Graded Work/Test Folder • PowerSchool Parent Access / Training is MANDATORY
